Our commitment
Marlink Technologies (operating name of Marlink Trading SRL) is committed to making our digital services accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We consider accessibility a core part of quality and user experience, not a separate layer.
We aim to design, build, and maintain our website and related interfaces so that they can be used with assistive technologies, keyboard-only navigation and a range of input and display configurations.
Scope and standards
This statement applies to the public-facing content at spinyourtale.com and any related web experiences that link to this page.
Our goal is to meet or exceed the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as our technical reference and aim for conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA wherever possible.
In practice, this means we work to ensure our content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with a broad range of abilities and assistive technologies.
Measures we take
To support accessibility, we currently:
- Use semantic HTML elements (
main, nav, section, article, footer) to express document structure. - Provide alternative text for meaningful images and mark decorative images so they are ignored by screen readers.
- Ensure full keyboard navigation support, including visible focus indicators for interactive elements.
- Provide "skip to content" links to bypass repeated navigation.
- Respect user preferences for reduced motion (
prefers-reduced-motion) where our UI includes animations. - Use ARIA roles and attributes where needed to enhance, not replace, semantic markup.
- Structure pages with a clear heading hierarchy and logical reading order.
- Aim for sufficient colour contrast in line with WCAG Level AA.
- Manage focus correctly for dialogs, overlays, and dynamic components.
Current status and known limitations
As of 1 December 2025, the spinyourtale.com website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standards.
We are aware of the following types of issues:
- Third-party content: Some embedded content or widgets provided by external partners may not fully meet WCAG requirements. We work with these providers to improve accessibility where we can.
- Ongoing improvements: As our product evolves, newly-introduced pages and components may temporarily fall short of our accessibility target until they are reviewed and refined.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not listed above, please let us know so we can investigate and address it.
